Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die

This is an action comedy that almost defies description. Suffice to say: if you enjoy dark humor and want a fun action movie you cannot go wrong with this one.

Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die may be my favorite movie of the year. No Other Choice is a close second, alongside Backrooms which may be my favorite. But neither of those are as fun as this one.
This is a movie of our times. It touches on all the big stuff -- artificial intelligence, issues in our education system, virtual reality, advertising, corporate overreach, etc. The list goes on and on and takes you in all sorts of unpredictable directions.
The acting is great, in particular Sam Rockwell, but Zazie and Pena and Haley Lu and Juno and everyone. They all play their characters in this insanity perfectly. And it's apparently the Pirates of the Caribbean director who most certainly knows what it is he's doing.
I don't want to spoil anything so I won't say much more here. But I will say it starts a bit slow the first ~5 minutes with a speech that immediately feel turned off with its potential ham-handedness. But it all comes together pretty perfectly.
I cannot recommend this one enough.
