Idiots
Macon Blair
Good bits by great actors in a dumb comedy that doesn't really seem to have much to say. But that's fine.

The trailer for this movie had me excited. Funny actors with a low-stakes setting. I like idiotmaxxing from time to time. Turn the brain off and enjoy the guttural vibrations of the human experience.
Well, the sum is less than the parts on this one. It meandered around, hitting on some arcs and then just strangely moving on. And it didn't amount to an ultimately satisfying or cohesive movie that it could've been. But there was some great lines with perfect delivery (particularly Dave Franco who also stole all his scenes in the overrated show The Studio).
I'd recommend giving it a watch. And I'd watch it again in the background. It'll make you laugh despite not having much to say, which is fine. And so a fine comedy, I just had higher hopes with all the parts going in.
