Resident Evil (2026)

I am a major fan of Zach Cregger's other films (Barbarian especially but Weapons as well). I am also a pretty darn big fan of the video game series Resident Evil (1996).

I am most hyped about the fact that it is it's own thing. He is not adapting any particular storyline, just using the universe to tell his own story. And that's where so much has gone wrong with the glut of of imagination-less slop that pours through other IPs.

If there's somebody to make a vibe-accurate Resident Evil, I can think of nobody better.
