Coffee came into my life later (read: when I got older, slept less, and needed a "healthy" controlled substance reward system). I have since come to appreciate the mild stimulant for more than just the caffeine effects.

Good coffee and a good coffee maker can make coffee very tasty. Like beer, it's acquired, for whatever that is worth. But a black cup of coffee has become delightful (and note: all of you who may prefer drinking milky, sugary versions of coffee -- I'm not shaming you by any means but I will say you may want to look at your coffee's calorie count and other "nutritional" information side-by-side a dessert like ice cream; and BTW you shouldn't eat two servings of ice cream for breakfast every day).

You will put some time into maintenance (~60 minutes every ~180 days).

Anywho, no diminishing returns for purchasing a fine coffeemaker like this. A good coffee maker gives you more than just the last 20% of flavor enhancement. And the traditional drip doesn't require Keurig-style waste-of-plastic-choking-the-planet K-cups so that's cool too.

Personal writing side note for myself to review: research the climate impact of coffee beans as a whole oh wait nevermind my brain is not materially piercing second order effects of global trade and economies and I can simply rest easy knowing that I don't need to use a plastic cup for the 300+ cups of coffee I drink every year which is something I can immediately and directly control.
