Outdoor Research Transcendent down vest — 800-fill warmth in a water-resistant recycled-nylon shell that packs down small. Good for hiking and walking, and a step up on the navy OR vest. I am at the age where a good vest helps perfectly temperature regulate in Fall, Winter, and Spring. This one is light, packable, and very nice.
Good for hiking, walking, and other outdoor activities. The one I reach for over the navy version.
