A time capsule to a different time but with many of our same problems.
One of the most notably reported ethical problems of yesteryear was animal lab testing for cosmetic products. And (not very) funnily enough, it still is. But Legally Blonde 2 took the issue head-on in a uh tasteful blonde-humor way that was as revealing as it was stupidly entertaining. Even the gay dog bit was great
Everything on this earth is beautiful and brilliant and worthy of celebrating. Except for those that harbor malicious, selfish thoughts. I can't help but think of the Shel Silverstein bit where you only look ugly if you're thinking ugly thoughts.
Note: The first Legally Blonde was better. And as previously mentioned in that recommedandation, watching the first episode of Amazon's Elle after these two, it takes the chic, neatly bundled story I enjoyed here and stretches the premise painfully thin to the point of seemingly missing what made these work so well.
