There Is No Antimemetics Division

I believe SCP Foundation would be one of the forerunners to this book about clandestine organizations.
Men in Black may be the best comparison for most here. But no matter how you chalk it up, this is a book that tugs on the eternal thought of beings beyond our dimension.
The book opens up to a brilliant start, setting the stage for everything to come. But interestingly, you end up jumping and jumbling around characters as the book is divided into three sections with a wonderful arc for what lurks beyond the doors of perception.
I'm a big fan of the Alan Wake universe, which draws from the same well of water as this one. And having recently seen Backrooms, this book was another wonderful exploration in the form of classified logs from a clandestine organization combatting the Cthullian horrors that span further than we may ever be able to imagine.
The narrator was good, with the audiobook introducing redacted signals neatly in most all places. I enjoyed the characters, the unexpected arc, and all my time in this universe and would gladly return if the engimatic author qntm or any other decided to delve back in.
Until then, I recommend this and will continue ruminating on our five narrow slits of perception.
Note: After posting my immediate thoughts above, I was notified that qntm actually self-published this as a web serial a few years prior in 2020-21. So the strong connection to that SCP (and for me Remedy-verse, certainly makes even more sense now. And I just saw Backrooms, again. I’m eating good with all that and Control 2 set for later this year.
