Trigun
Yasuhiro Nightow
A goofy OP protagonist waltzes through a post-apocalyptic world with a funny, rich set of great characters and fun animation.
Good voices, great characters, and one heck of an arc.
I always enjoy my time with Trigun. It was 1b to Cowboy Bebop's 1a for me as I got (a bit) into anime a long while back. The lore is rich, the characters are always funny, and the overall 26-episode, 20-minute episode arc is a wonderful time.
It's got a bunch of classic tropes, fantastic villains, entertaining "filler" episodes, and is strongly recommended to anyone who enjoys a bi-polar swing from scaredy-cat goofy pacificist to terrifyingly tragic otherworldly gunman.
