Tretinoin
$100 / year

Everybody has blemishes. Be it blemishes of the soul or a pimple upon the face or some other unsightly bit about you that you'd rather hide. For the acne-types, Tretinoin is some good stuff.
Tretinoin, in my totally underinformed but practically experienced perspective, makes you shed your skin like a snake. But you only shed just a bit and rather innocuously (especially with a generous use of Neutrogena Hydro Boost Night Pressed Serum and the like).
Your cells die and turnover every day. This seems to just hurry it along a tad bit with precision strikes to help you shed your blemish.
I've shared some of my skin troubles via the slog that was my Isotretinoin AKA Accutane saga. A worthwhile medicine that shares overlap in name and effect. If you're dealing with chronic cystic acne then I strongly stand by that recommendation.
For those instead with the occasional blemish -- cystic or otherwise -- this is some good stuff.
And as a reminder, I am not a medical doctor (albeit a Juris one). And my skin is (thankfully) not your skin. I am pale, and pasty, and my skin withers in the sun and even tries to give me cancer. If you think this sort of medical tool could also help you then talk to a dermatologist because it's likely more affordable than you think (and worthwhile re: dealing with your problems, instilling confidence in your command of this world, etc).
