Maruman Mnemosyne N104 Notebook

This is a top-tier notebook for two reasons:

1. It's premium paper and pens glide across it. It's smooth but not too smooth. It's thick but not too thick. It's some great slices of bright white paper. And then,
2. Perhaps most importantly, the page layout is excellent. Primarily the dot grid, which is my preference. But secondarily the top header area takes up just enough space for a date and a general topic. I tend to scribble out 1-2 pages of notes a night or so and it's nice to date it and then title the day's brainwave at the end.

Now this Maruman notebook is not necessarily my favorite notepad. The ones that get more use are:

• The Panobook which is perhaps the most indispensable tool for a desk worker in the age of ai (or otherwise). And then,
• The Rite in the Rain 3.25x4.5 stapled pocket notebook that pairs perfectly with the Zebra Techo T-3 (and yes, I've tried the gorgeous Fisher Space Pen Bullet).

This Maruman notebook stays posted up on the couch with a Zebra F-301 Compact through the spiral. And then if going away for a weekend or into the office, it'll join me given the generous real estate while not being a full blown 8.5x11.
