Parker's Jotter pen is nice. It's light. It looks good. The click is satisfying. And the blue ink is a beautiful color.

My biggest issue with the Parker is that I don't feel like I have a good grip on it when writing for any extended period. That's why I prefer the heft of a Zebra F-701; lightness is neat and perhaps good in some scenarios but weightiness helps me balance the pen pressure to pen stroke ratio better. And black ink is indisputably universally better than blue ink (I'm a lawyer -- there is no arguing this point, case closed).

I enjoyed using The Parker Jotter when it first arrived for the bright blue ink and the easy-to-twirl shape and weight. But ultimately, it takes a bit of scribbling to get the ink going on most paper (especially Rite in the Rain paper, but even my prized Panobooks), so it's not the best pen amongst my options: Zebra F-701 > Zebra X-701 > Zebra F-301.
