Paco Rabanne Men's Million Gold Intense EDP
Paco Rabanne
$100 / bottle

My main cologne is Givenchy Men's Gentleman Boisee EDP. But we contain multitudes and sometimes you gotta zag after zigging.
Paco Rabanne Men's Million Gold taught me what "Intense EDP" was in the cologne world. And once I got my brain wrapped around that I appreciated what this stood for and how to incorporate that dynamic into my world.
Again, I'll reiterate my point from the Givenchy mainstay: I am not sophisticated here or with wine (and note here: also see How To with John Wilson S2E2). And while I may not be able to smell or taste like the pros, I do know I like what I like. And I like this.
It's a bit woody like my other but it's got a fresher, more powerful scent to it. It also seems to last longer, going back to the intense descriptor.
If you're looking for the manufacturer terms:
- Sandalwood
- Spices
- Mandarin orange
- Cedarwood
And again: If you're looking for a cologne, do not get this. Get a sampler. Spray one on each day and see where you're at 1 hour, 4 hours, and then 8 hours into it. Everyone's nose is different. Everyone's skin is different. What works for me may not work for you, so see what you like rather than listening the nose-blind lunatics on Reddit or elsewhere.
And final note: Get the sampler from a Macy's or other retailer. Buy the big bottle from a Jomashop or other discounter (or dupe shop, whatever) because let's be real here.
