How To with John Wilson
John Wilson
A New Yorker's archive of footage rebuilt as poetry — about scaffolding, wine, and being alive.

A unique comedy that's part poetry, part visual storytelling.
New Yorker John Wilson has a seemingly endless archive of footage he uses to tell stories about his experience with basic things — like how to appreciate wine, how to put up scaffolding, and a whole bunch more.
Each episode has him exploring a facet of life and, like producer Nathan Fielder, it rather quickly goes off the rails with him traveling to unusual conventions and interviewing folks who may not be well in the head (though he demonstrates in S3E5 that the people he's punching down with are at least compensated).
Despite the cringe nature of his work, the poetry of his motion and the hearty laughs are excellent and worth a watch.
