A Cold War relic that I hope stays in the past with lessons learned.
You do not always get a chance to visit a decommissioned source of terror. In fact, this is one of only a few throughout the country and a reminder of a time bygone. We still live in fear, but it’s a different type these days (thank goodness?).
I’ll report back with more information on whether this is worth your while or not.
