Boston
Boston, Massachusetts, United States
Boston is a fine city on the surface. A real slice of America, I suppose.
Boston, MA is a classic American city. Successful sports city going all the way back, a train ride up the East Coast, and it’s got some museums and other cultural todos that can make for a fantastic trip.
Despite all that, each experience I’ve had has been tinged with racism and general elitism. You run into some bad apples in any city but it seems pretty rampant here with too many coincidences (give it a try -- tell somebody you're from Baltimore, MD and see what happens!).
So for all the good apples out there who put up with ugly poors like me, thank you. There's some amazing parts of America in that city.
Must do
- Isabella Gardner Museum (~$25/head but well worth it re: very unique museum)
- Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (very large, very nice)
- Boston Commons (good starting point for a stroll and some photo-centricity)
- Arnold Arboretum (if you like plants and strolling it’s good; not condensed but great for a saunter)
- Fenway Park (like sports?)
