Boston is a fine city on the surface.
Despite all that, each experience has been tinged with racism and general elitism. You run into some bad apples in any city but it seems pretty rampant here with too many coincidences (give it a try -- tell somebody you're from Baltimore, MD and see what happens!).
So for all the good apples out there who put up with ugly poors like me, thank you. There's some amazing parts of America in that city.
